We are now accepting applications for expedited patients- this is for services only (IV, acupuncture, red light therapy). This is for patients with commercial insurance or no insurance. Insurance will not be accepted for the consult or services.
Dr Miller and Jewels new patient slots are currently full through the end of the year. You can still fill out the paperwork, but you may not receive a call for several months.
Please be aware we practice Integrative medicine. We often make suggestions to change your diet, add supplements/herbs and start IV treatments. These are often out of pocket expenses that insurance does not cover.
Pediatric patients can be seen for consults ONLY. We do not take the place of a pediatrician.
Most insurance policies are accepted. We do suggest contacting your insurance to verify that our providers are in network. We do not have Medicaid providers.
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama Patients– please be aware if your contract/policy number begins with BEG, NDJ, BGL or PGX you will require a referral from your PCP to see Jewelia Gahan, NP. This MUST be obtained before we can schedule an appointment.
Dr. Miller is not currently in network with BCBS. You may still see her, but it will be an out of pocket expense.
At this time, we are not accepting new patients that have a Medicare advantage plan HMO (Viva, Humana, Cigna, UHC) that require a PCP be listed on your card.
There is a $50-$100 late cancel/no show fee.
Lyme Patients: we are Lyme literate and can help diagnosis and treat acute Lyme. We cannot treat chronic/complicated Lyme. We do have recommendations for another provider that is able to treat more complicated Lyme.
